Floating. Unicorn. Bar. Intrigued?

Your pool was actually dry until this point

This weekend the weather was glorious. Many places were seeing temperatures above 80 degrees, marking the beginning of a long, hot summer. If you're lucky enough to have access to a pool, you're probably digging out the inflatables right now, imagining blissful lazy afternoons bobbing about. How could that be made better?

I'll tell you: with the help of a very charming inflatable unicorn. This inflatable drinks vessel is big enough to hold a serious amount of alcohol – it's a generous 32 inches long and holds about 36 drinks, according to the listing. It's got a built in tray for you to fill with ice to keep everything chilled, and four cup holders on the exterior. Basically, it's the perfect addition to any backyard pool.

If you get thirsty as you float, all you need to do is get hold of the unicorn, grab the first thing that comes to hand and continue to float gracefully.

Admittedly, I can see there being a slight difficulty in navigating to the unicorn. Perhaps tie yourself to it for ease, or just be ready to paddle. It's good to earn treats, anyways.

I know what you're thinking. How the heck do you drag it out of the pool when you're done? That melted ice is going to be heavy.

Well I have good news: it has a spout so you can drain all the water and ice out easy peasy. It costs only $15, and has almost five stars on Amazon. One reviewer went as far as to say it was 'actually nicer than expected'. So what's not to love? If you've got a pool, it needs a unicorn floating bar in it. Period.

  • Of course the most hilarious thing here is that y'all consider 26 degrees the beginning of a hot, pool-requiring summer.
