Twitter has become flooded with recipes, all using the tag 'follow me for other recipes'. These posts are all part of a new meme, in which weirdly simple tasks are inexplicably presented as recipes. There's a photograph of a banana being opened and sliced; a nut being cracked; even water being poured from a bottle into a glass.

Some are getting more inventive with the format:

And others are using it as an opportunity to show off their terrible cooking:

This mildly amusing trend has caused a stir, and will likely continue to do so for at least a day, or however long it takes for these things to come and go. What do you make of this trend?
