Food & Drink Cyber Monday deals you can't miss

Christmas is coming, and everyone wants those foodie gifts...

2y ago

Black Friday weekend is here, which means Cyber Monday too! It's a time for running into your nearest shop and wrestling with a random person for the last television on the shelves... Or, it's a time to calmly log on to the internet, and get some great discounts on food & drink products.

According to research by JP Morgan, 1 in 3 online consumers in the US use e-commerce for food and beverages. Furthermore, 31% of shoppers bought groceries online in 2017, up 23% from 2015. In 2014, $1.2bn was spent on groceries online.

In 2019, that number went up to $2.8bn, and projections show that, at this rate, consumers are going to spend $4.8bn next year alone. You can see where this is going.

There are a lot of deals out there, and while we're here, we might as well join the movement. So break out your credit/debit/prepaid or loyalty card and get ready to stock up some food and drink for the upcoming weeks at a bargain price.

Nespresso Creatista Plus by Sage, brushed stainless steel – Amazon

Up your at home coffee skills with this fancy coffee maker from Nespresso. You can get a whopping 45% off on Cyber Monday. But be quick, this offer isn't going to last very long. You can make any kind of coffee you fancy, and it only takes three seconds to heat up!

Tanqueray Rangpur gin – Amazon

Let the festive celebrations be-gin! Start Black Friday as you mean to go on by picking up a bargain on a bottle of gin. Tanqueray Rangpur gin, which is made with rare Rangpur limes, is on offer for £20 (down from £25).

Red Bull – Amazon

A lot of people drink a lot of Red Bull (including myself, I'm afraid). It's a life-saver for students, workers and athletes, but one of the drawbacks is that it is usually quite expensive. Luckily, Amazon has a rather good deal which will save you a considerable 33% on a 24-pack of 250ml cans. You can keep those energy levels up while you're doing all your Black Friday shopping.

Various boozy offers – Master of Malt

The team at Master of Malt always do things right, including sales. They've got offers on everything from gin taster sets to whisky to brandy and everything in between. There are flash sales running all weekend, so you'll need to get in quick if you want to bag a bargain.

Monkey 47 gin – Amazon

Game of Thrones whiskies – Amazon

You can keep getting your Game of Thrones fix with 25% off the entire whisky collection.

Leffe is a premium, mildly hoppy beer available in different varieties across a rich and varied range. It is a bit expensive but usually worth it, and that's why this deal by Beerhawk.co.uk looks intriguing: a case including 30 33cl bottles for £30. The case includes 10 Leffe Blonde , 10 Leffe Brune and 10 Leffe Winter.

Wine and Champagne – Sainsbury's

Sainsbury's has brought back its offer of buy any six bottles, get 25% off. There's everything from cheap plonk to fine wine and Champagne included in the offer. We'd recommend stocking up on Sainsbury's excellent Taste the Difference Prosecco for the festive season

What is Christmas without a box of Ferraro Rocher in the house? Nothing? Exactly. Amazon is getting in the Black Friday AND Christmas spirit by offering the Ferrero Collection chocolate gift set, which includes Ferraro Rocher, Rondnoir and Raffaello – a whopping 32 of them, for £6.99 (usual price £11.84)

Pesto – Amazon

If you're in the mood for some pasta, and/or you've recently visited Liguria in Italy and came home longing to go back, this might be interesting. There are plenty of deals on Barilla products on Amazon, including this, a pack of 12 (190g) Barilla Pesto sauce. Molto bene.

I know people who swear they're cold when it's 35° and sunny, and this is the perfect item for them. 80 Tassimo hot chocolate pods (case of 5, 40 ) for £16.60, rather than the usual £22.45. Perfect for winter evenings sitting in front of the fireplace.
