FoodTribe's birthday potluck
What I think it would be like....
We would start with some borscht and Angel's little fortune pockets with Vencolini's sausages on display.
Doug pulls up a cart to start slicing up the tomahawk as Larry's pork belly bites hits the table. I bring over my one pot lasagna and Jeannine with her megaloaf, both got quickly passed around. Out comes all the sides as James places the green bean casserole on the table and Vencolini starts passing around the rosti. Rachael yells "I got the ketchup!" as Oliver gets brought out. While Remon runs off with the fries since he didn't know what else he might have. Veo ate and walked about, telling what was "Veo approved".
Fulana and Remon poured the wine as they argued "MINE". Max took care of the water as Alessandro was off mixing some drinks.
Time for dessert as Helena breaks out the cake and ice cream. Here comes Suzie with the Tiramisu, Filipa runs off with the cannoli but Simonetta quickly snatches them back. Zahra makes sure to grab a sample of each. We all ate until there was barely a bite left to be had.
John Battersby and MT Blake went out to set up the range with Doug quickly heading that way. Christy and Denise grabbed the dip and chips, then headed for the couch. Sir John and I grabbed some port, a couple of glasses and headed to the porch to watch the sun go down. Darren came along and sat on the steps strumming and singing away. Everyone wandered and mingled until they started one by one calling it a night.
In the morning everyone awoke to the smell of coffee and tea. There was bowls of oatmeal and some sausage and egg pie.
Sir John raised his mug "To good food, to good fun, to next year when we all come here again."
