Forget about that ridiculous Salmon on the menu!

During quarantine, make your own Michelin Star salmon meal at home.

The one thing that is on so many high end restaurant menus for ridiculous prices is salmon, and often you will receive an overcooked tiny portion with a tiny amount of a weird side, like 2 asparagus. You come out of there having spent 100£ on food and drinks for 2 people and then you go to Nando's because you're hungry. This is why my rule in those types of restaurants is always: can I make this at home? If I can't, or can't be bothered, then it's worth it. If I can make it, then I order something else.

If you don't cook I understand that salmon or other more expensive ingredients can be scary to try to cook, but I assure you it is very simple.

This meal for 2 hungry people or 4 "Michelin Star" appetites tasted delicious and cost me less than 12£ to make. So go ahead and treat yourself at home during quarantine.

  • I know an utterly easy way using the frypan, but it doesn't have this exciting marinade.
