Get excited, Burger King is testing out plant based nuggets
This comes after the success of the Impossible Whopper
When Burger King introduced their Impossible Whopper it was a huge success and it continues to be a big seller for them.
On the heels of that success BK has announced that they are testing out plant based nuggets which is great news for vegans, vegetarians or anyone who is looking to eat less meat.
They are the first fast food location to expand their range of Impossible products and they are testing it at select locations in Des Moines, Iowa, Boston, Massachusetts and Miami, Florida starting on October 11th. Each order of these chickenless nuggets will come with eight pieces and your choice of dipping sauce. Though we expect to see these as a permanent menu item soon.
If you don't live in any of the select cities don't worry, Burger King has something else for you. Starting on October 11th, for a limited time, Burger King is introducing Ghost Pepper Chicken Nuggets nationwide.
Though these aren't plant based, anyone who likes heat and a punch of spice should get their hands on these before they're gone.
So what do you think FoodTribers, do you think the plant based nuggets will become a permanent menu item? Will you be trying them if they do? And how about those ghost pepper nuggets, right up your alley or a hard no? If you do try them we'd love to know what you think.
