Good news chocolate fans, Aldi is looking for Easter egg tasting officers
A fun, and delicious, opportunity for Easter egg fans – you've got until 15 March to enter!
Easter is just around the corner and chocolate fans are already filled with anticipation. If you're one of those chocolate fans and you're looking for something to do until the holiday shows up, then I have good news. Aldi is looking for Easter egg tasting officers.
They are looking for three tasting officers to sample Aldi's range of Easter eggs. As part of the job, the tasting officers will be tasting, rating and reviewing the eggs, including Aldi's famous Giant Dragon Egg and the blonde chocolate Specially Selected Exquisite Beehive Egg with honeycomb pieces.
The feedback from the tasting officers will help Aldi's buying team create next year's edible showstoppers.
If this is something that interests you, you will need to submit a video explaining why you want to be the Chief Easter Egg Tasting Officer job and include some examples of your favorite Aldi chocolates. The successful applicants will receive their samples on March 22nd and their reviews will go live after March 29th.
Email your video to AldiEasterTastingOfficer@McCann.com by 15 March.
They have stressed that the applicants with experimental tastes buds and a lot of charisma will go far in the application process, as the chosen applicants will be asked to help make video reviews of the Aldi Easter egg range and those videos will be shown on the Aldi social media channels.
Tasting officers will be given ten Easter eggs in total to try and asked to review five on camera.
Managing director of buying at Aldi, Julie Ashfield had this to say, "We've never before had such a wonderful variety of Easter egg shapes, flavor combinations and colors.
"We want to hear from people of all ages who simply love chocolate and can help showcase our innovative range. If this sounds like eggs-actly what you'e been looking for, be quick, the deadline for applications is March 15th."
