Good news! Häagen-Dazs just introduced a new Rosé wine & cream flavor
Don't worry, you won't get drunk on a scoop
Excellent news if you like rosé wine or ice-cream, or both! American ice cream brand Häagen-Dazs has recently unveiled a new "boozy" flavor for its Spirits Collection.
The latest addition, called Rosé & Cream, consists of a tart rosé swirl with wine infused sweet ice cream. It sounds good but it gets even better when you learn that it only has 0.5% ABV, is gluten-free and there are only 310 calories per serving.
Rosé & Cream is already available in store, priced at $5.49 per carton, along other products in the Spirits Collection like Bourbon Praline Pecan, Bourbon Vanilla Bean Truffle, Irish Cream Brownie, Irish Cream Cookie Squares, Rum Tres Leches, Stout Chocolate Pretzel Crunch and Amaretto Black Cherry Almond Toffee. The Spirits Collection was first introduced in Canada about a year ago and it was subsequently introduced in the U.S. as well.
Despite the Scandinavian-sounding name, Häagen-Dazs (the name actually has no meaning in Danish) was founded in New York in 1961 by Polish-Jewish entrepreneurs Reuben and Rose Mattus, who created the brand as a homage to country of Denmark.
