Grilled Chili Cheese Sandwiches

This is the chili cheese sandwich that I said would be in the works made from the hot dog chili I had posted a few days ago. This sandwich always reminds me of my dad. Whenever there was left over hot dog chili, he would make these in this big, heavy sandwich press. Those were the best. It’s so comforting on a cool day with the bite of the chili and the warm, gooey cheese between crispy, toasted bread. This also pairs well with your favorite tomato soup.
