Happy Bastille Day Supper

Today is 14th, July. It's Fête Nationale or Bastille Day. So, I thought the best way to celebrate is to put on a plate at least some things of what France is famous for. So, I've gone through our fridge and found cabbage and carrots (Alsace), lovely fridge aged beef (Burgundy), herbs, roasted bell peppers and tomatoes in chunky homemade sauce (Provence), prawns and tuna (could be any area of coastal France) and button mushrooms well , not quite Champignon de Paris, but look similar. Quickly stirred vegetable in very hot wok (my favorite cooking appliance), then off to separate pot to stew on low heat. Stir fry mushrooms, beef and prawns, again in very hot wok and separately, one after another. Then combine everything together, adjust seasoning, served cure tuna on a side and wash it all down with nice Pouilly-Fumé from lovely Pouilly-sur-Loire in Loire Valley. Happy Bastille day everyone!
