Happy Easter all – I hope you were able to make the most of it at home. Spent the afternoon baking bread for the first time ever after lucking out at some of the smaller shops nearby and finding some bread-making flour and yeast last week. Although I underestimated how much it’d take to fill the tin, hence why it’s a bit short, the texture and taste is ace – perfectly crunchy crust and fluffy centre. Will report back again when I manage to make a taller, less stubby loaf.
