Few days ago, I made lagana (λαγάνα) for Green Monday and I must say that these 2 breads are very similar! The ingredients and kneading technique are the same, however the Greek one has these characteristic wholes, and we coat it with sugar water, whereas the Persian one has the characteristics lines on top and is coated with a special glazed before baked!
