They are a type of an Asian variety of sweet pepper and are served charred or blistered. A little olive oil and a little sea salt and I put them on the grill. I highly enjoyed these, they were a very tasty addition to our meal. I did not find these to be very sweet at all but definitely not hot. Have you had shishito peppers? How were they prepared?

I have not, and I'm a bit wary when the same Jane who suggested my fire chips were mild says these are "definitely not hot".
Lol...it was like a green bell pepper with not much sweetness.
Sounds cool
More than willing to have again especially with grilled meat!
Never heard of. Mispronounced that and things would be interesting
Lol! I find them every now and then and I decided I might as well try them. When I have seen them on YouTube they were always charred. They are worth a go if you run across them.
I have heard. I do avoid lol. Glad you enjoyed.
Lol...why do you avoid them?
Allergic to peppers.
Yes I have. Definitely better roasted or grilled.
Pretty tasty!
