Heinz baked beans with pork sausages in a rich tomato sauce pimped with leftover okra curry and tikka masala paste on toast
It’s not as complex as it sounds. Try it.
I approached this warily. Okra is a bloody weird vegetable and tends to work best as a principal ingredient; for example in okra curry, or okra. So the best thing to do with leftover okra curry is reheat it and have okra curry.
But I only had a bit left, and only half a tsp of masala paste, which is useless unless you want to make a single chicken tikka masala vol-au-vent. So I tried this. Here is the recipe.
Ingredients
One tin of Heinz baked beans with pork sausages in a rich tomato sauce.
Some leftover okra curry.
Scrape of tikka masala paste.
2 slices fresh free-range toast.
Method
Put the some leftover okra curry in a medium size pan and start heating it up.
After a bit, add the scrape of tikka masala paste. Stir about a bit.
Add the tin of Heinz baked beans with pork sausages in a rich tomato sauce.
Lower the heat and allow to reduce, stirring occasionally. Do not allow to boil.
A bean boiled is a bean spoiled.
During the reduction phase, burn your fresh free-range toast.
Butter the toast, pour the Heinz baked beans with pork sausages in a rich tomato sauce pimped with leftover okra curry and tikka masala paste mixture evenly on top, and enjoy.

I hope it tastes better than it looks... let's call the optical impression "questionable" 😁
That’s casual
The Brittish and their beans...
Did you enjoy it, or was it on the tried but never to be done again list? That toast isn’t burnt, it’s perfect.
English breakfast meets Indian curry - the best crossover of all time. I love okra!
