Homemade baked loin recipe

Some classic dinner idea

Found some freezed loin in fridge and tried to found out idea for some tasty dinner. Honestly, I was a bit tired of frying meat etc. - so that idea went out firstly. For long time I haven't been eating some proper and classical baked loin with some fragrant seasoning mix, garlic and mustard for extra crispness.


Loin (around 1kg)

Seasoning mix: salt - 1 teaspoon , marjoram - 1 1/2 teaspoon, chilli - 1/4 teaspoon, basil - 1 teaspoon, thyme - 1/4 teaspoon.

1 head of garlic (minced)

2 tablespoons of your favourite mustard


1. Preheat the oven to 180Β°C, meanwhile wash and slice the meat.

2. Sprinkle the meat with seasoning mix and minced garlic and rub everything after that put two teaspoons of mustard and spead it on the meat.

3. Use kitchen thread to wrap the meat - so it doesn't fall apart. Rub the top of the loin with seasoning mix as well. Baked meat in kitchen sleeve (it's not obligatory) around 1h.

As it is classic dinner. I served it with potatoes and beatroot and bell pepper homemade salad and loin sauce. Smelled and tasted amazing. Meat turned out very soft, full of flavour and a crispy in the same time.

It also tastes great as a addition of sandwich. Here sandwich with some loin, fried champignions onion everything closed in crispy bun with seeds, chilli and fried onion bites.
