I cut up a whole chicken, sprinkled the pieces with some of my creole seasoning. I placed the pieces in a cast iron skillet and tossed it into the oven. What remained of the carcass went into a pot for some broth for later use. Made some homemade mashed potatoes(my husband's favorite). When the chicken was done cooking I made gravy with the pan drippings. American style gravy of course, made with flour and milk. Ah so delicious, home cooked goodness, even the cat had to come beg for some chicken.
