  • Years ago , my cousin and I used to have steamed broccoli, with sautéed mushrooms and shallots on buttered toast with scrambled eggs for breakfast, with a pot of tea, and a glass of Dutch Chocolate Sustagen .

Then we would go downstairs and work on an old Triumph 2000 saloon.

    Happy days.

For lunch every day we would have steamed brussel sprouts, broccoli, carrots, snow peas, and a small steak, with brown rice.

Dinner was much the same as lunch.

I worked at a pizza shop, so there was always left over pizza, and garlic bread.

About 20 years ago, I was cooking at a 7 acre community garden in Brisbane Australia.

We would make fresh pesto for lunch, freshly harvested salads, curries, and fresh veg and herb soups.

We had about 100 different edible plants on the farm, which was located in an old mango orchard.

These days I have tomato juice for breakfast, coleslaw and a tomato and parsley salad for lunch, and dinner always has green capsicum, spinach broccoli, carrots , with a coleslaw, and a tomato , parsley and lettuce salad.

I live with my doctor brother and I make him eat his veges !.
