After posting the Polish mizeria a couple days ago our friend Emilia was telling me about the Hungarian version of mizeria. It is basically the same as the Polish version with some added ingredients, such as onion, bell peppers, paprika and garlic. After talking about it and knowing that everything I have tried from Emilia has tasted great, I just had to give this a day in court as well.

Hungarian mizeria

FoodTribe there is not a huge difference here just a few extra ingredients but it makes a world of difference. Adding these few extra items has made this my favorite version of mizeria. This batch ended up a little runnier than it should be but that was my fault, I added a little to much sour cream and I did not get the peppers as dry as I should have. I really want to thank my friend Emilia for recommending me to try this version. I hope you all give it a try and let us know what you think.

  • Looks lovely. I think I would like a bit of fresh red chilli in too, but I do like a bit of spice 😋

    • That would work very well! Honestly it works very well as a cooling and refreshing side for spicy food
