I finally tracked down the timer used in Oh Cook! and received it last night as an early Christmas present from my dad. Doesn’t hurt that Smiths made the instruments to my favorite car, the Aston Martin DB5, so essentially I am using a DB5 to time how long the pasta has been boiling, right?

    • Very neat! Leighanne raised an eyebrow but now she thinks it’s neat to have an old school timer. Makes timing things more special. That said if I am biking, I don’t plan to time my ride by carrying it with me… might get some odd looks

  • Pretty cool! Any chance of you sharing the link on where to buy it?

    • It was an eBay listing and the first I’d seen pop up! There was one more on there a few weeks back so worth a look. Try typing “smiths seconds timer” or something like that and occasionally they pop up- good luck!
