I finally tried a foil pack
Having linked to a recipe vid in August 2017, I finally tried it
The original link was to www.lecremedelacrumb.com/garlic-steak-and-potato-foil-packs/, but I also noticed a mushroom variation www.lecremedelacrumb.com/buttery-garlic-steak-and-mushroom-foil-packs/.
Naturally, I just combined the two, and added a local mild chili for interest - all local farm shop goodness. I used 35 day aged ribeye, from Franklins of Thorncote.
I'm glad I tried - the prep is minimal and you just leave it to get on with things in the oven. and it was delicious.
