I have done it... Behold, the dessert burger
It's been a long time in the making
This is a burger I have been working on for a while. Today I bring you my final result.
I baked some of those cinnamon rolls that come in a cardboard tube.
I baked them a little longer than the packet says so they were a little firmer and could handle what I was about to put on top.
I tossed in some green apples, thinly sliced, to fry in butter and brown sugar. When the apple slices are done cooking, just set them aside.
Now for the good bit. I took ground pork and added finely diced green apple, brown sugar, cinnamon and a little maple syrup. Now cook the pork in the skillet you caramelized the apple slices in.
When it's finished cooking, drop it on a roll and add the sliced apples. For a little extra sweetness I added a light drizzle of the icing from the cinnamon rolls.
I am now addicted to this little burger. I never would have thought it would taste this good.
I could go on and on about how good this is, but I want to know what you think FoodTribe. Have I lost my mind, or do you think this sounds good? Let me know in the comments. Happy Friday FoodTribe. I love you all.

Needs ice cream Doug, and you know it. Back to the kitchen.
Gladly! Gives me a reason to eat another one. 🙂
Bun looks very fluffy. Such autumn thing apples and
cinnamon. Knowing me I would add also a bit carmelized onion to that 😁. Happy Friday to you too!
That would not be a bad option. Thank you Emilia. 🙂
I know because onion is fabulous
I would never have thought to put those ingredients together but somehow it works, I think. Further research is needed guess I'm gonna have to make one to test it out 😋
Well it took me awhile to come up with this one. Oh I promise it works. I want another now. 😀
The Willy Wonka burger 🍔!!! Yes, you are a burger visionary 👍🏼
