I made a Beyond Burger burger and it was badass
Meat and skill-free meal makes a massive impact.
Before you say anything, I know the bread bun looks a bit tragic, but that's because it was an old one I rescued from the freezer. And I know I've assembled it upside-down, which shouldn't really matter and yet, somehow, does.
Other than that, this was acebiscuits. The Beyond Burger burger is pretty good anyway, but what this exercise demonstrates is that a good burger is as much about all the other crap you throw in there. I added cheese, fried onion, gherkin, mushrooms, vegetarian mustard, and tommy ketchup. The bun was lightly skimmed with sunflower spread. Delicious.
To be honest, McDonalds may as well close down. Oh…

There are NON-vegetarian mustards?
I literally just created an account for no other reason than to make this same comment. I’m pretty damn sure ALL mustards are vegetarian 😂
Just asked that question too:)
Melt the cheese over the burger during the last three minutes of cooking, then place the upper bun immediately. This will keep the bun from flying away in gusts up to 15 mph.
yup, there is something to be learned from watching the White Castle grilling method.
It reduces cooking fuel usage, and the chopped onions are efficiently fried. youtu.be/xSYlFMylrWI
Toast the top bun, add cheese and toast/melt that too. Then if the burger is no good at least you've got a toasted cheese bun.
it looks delicious...
Has to be vegan cheese there James
It is.
My favourite burger 🍔
