I seem to have started a "world of dumplings" by accident (no rival to Doug's world of burgers) 😂. The first one was British with a roast pork leftovers filling. Tonight we land in Italy - these dumplings were filled with vegetarian Spaghetti Bolognese leftovers filling! They were not as "fusion" as I was expecting, I think in part to the wholemeal dumpling wrappers, though I did smear a thin layer of spicy sriracha on the wrapper before adding the filling, so it was almost more of an Arrabbiata. Either way, they were actually noms. Success! 😁 I wonder where I'll end up next? (If I use tonight's leftovers, it will be Mexico but I'd love some more interesting suggestions.) 🙂
