I Won New Gear For My Camp Kitchen!
I can't believe how lucky I was!
I want to start by saying I am not sponsored by the company Jackery, I'm just incredibly lucky! A few weeks back, I entered the Jackery Explorer Week sweepstakes on www.jackery.com, and on the second day I won one of the two grand prizes!!!
The funny thing is, a couple weeks before winning the big prize, I bought myself a portable 'fridge/freezer that I talked about here:
Well, one of the prizes was a shiny new Dometic CFX28 portable 'fridge/freezer. So now I have two of portable refrigerators! That means that on longer trips I can have one set to keep frozen foods and I can have one set to keep refrigerated items.

One of the the other prizes I won in the sweepstakes is a Ninja 6-in-1 electric grill! I had previously written about a Coleman camp stove I precured that runs off off small gas bottles. I can now add the capabilities of grilling, air frying, roasting, and baking, among other things, to my camp kitchen with the Ninja 6-in-1 electric grill. I'm excited to mess around with this thing at home and then get it out into the bush for some gourmet cooking! I mention the Coleman camp stove here:

The big, main part of the prize though is the Jackery 1500 Solar Generator! This thing is so damn neat! The Jackery 1500 Solar Generator consists of a battery pack with built in charge controller and invertor, and four 100 watt solar panels for a combined potential of 400 wats of solar charging. The battery pack can also be charged off a wall outlet in my house, or using a 12 volt outlet in my truck while I'm driving, and while it's powering one or both of my travel 'fridges. It came with everything needed to power a long trip and campsite for DAYS! I'm so excited!

I also won a nice Coleman tent and a REI backpack as a part of the prize package. I can't wait to get all of this gear out in the field to experience a little nature and cook up some gourmet food out in the wild!

That happened to me too, I bought a few car stickers a while back, and then the company said they had a contest. Me and 2000 other people entered, and I said, “no way I’m gonna win”. The next day, they announced me as the winner! They game me a whole box of stickers, as prizes and I was surprised I won. Anyways, that’s very cool for you to win that!
