Scotland-based craft brewery Brewdog teamed up with Iron Maiden - yes, THE Iron Maiden - to release a new beer called 'Hellcat', a new India Pale Lager with a "pleasingly citrus-forward flavour" and a "malty backbone”.
The Hellcat IPL is brewed in the US and available in the States only, housed in a stylish can and boasting a healthy 6% ABV.
Bruce Dickinson, lead singer of Iron Maiden, said he'd been "looking for the perfect partner with whom to bring a fresh, exciting beer to the U.S.".
“I’ve long been an admirer of BrewDog, not just because of their beers, but also of their attitude and style," Dickinson said. "When I met the BrewDog team, we discovered the respect is mutual, and that we could make an undeniably unique beer together".
Brewdog CEO and co-founder James Watt added that "Iron Maiden, like BrewDog, have maintained their spirit of independence throughout their stellar career. Hellcat is a hop-forward lager with a golden hazy appearance and crisp finish—an epic beer worthy of this massive collaboration".

Pilsner or wheat beer
I did not know Iron Maiden was still around 😄
Me too 😆
How 1980s is that 🤣
One of the places I used to go to a lot pre-pandemic is one of Bruce's favourite bars in the UK. He would show up if he was ever in the area. Absolute legend.
I like pilsner 🍺
Can’t go wrong!
