Is Costa really worth it?

What I discovered during my travels and many service stops

I have discovered that Costa may not be worth it and here's why...

As a London Model and a Newcastle university student, I do my share fair of travelling and stopping at services. However last Friday I discovered something that blew my mind.

My Mum and I's usual go-to, is Costa for its convenience and ease; yet on our most recent drive to London I discovered something which had never caught my eye before...Greggs. It dawned on me that not only was Greggs dramatically cheaper, it was also worth the money in comparison to Costa's over-priced bitter coffee.

For example: My Mum's Cortado came to £3.20, which is outrageous for the blend and size of the coffee given. Greggs on the other hand, offered me a large hot drink of any kind and a sweet treat (cake, pastry etc) for a mere £2.60!

It being 8pm I opted for a hot chocolate (which was delicious and not 'cheap tasting' at all) and a double caramel muffin. It was perfect.

The last thing I must say is this, I am a coffee drinker. When in Melbourne, Australia (the AUS capital of coffee) I am willing to pay the price for a strong, organic and creamy coffee. Yet when the coffee is below average, these prices are simply a no-go.

Greggs it will be for me from now on!
