- That's my girl

Isn't she a beauty!

She even has a story to tell.

1y ago

The green river knife is famous for its use on the frontier. The knife was popular with buffalo hunters, mountain men, cowboys, Native Americans and settlers. As many as 60,000 were shipped to the frontier between 1840-1860. So that is the guesstimated age of my knife. My husband found her in one of his grandpa's old sheds and I have had her ever since. She is sharp enough that you can shave with her. Which is a requirement when my husband sharpens a knife.

  • My mother's sharpest knife now looks like a paddle pop stick.

    Also very good lightsaber action.
