It's B&J's Cookie Dough ice cream...but not as you know it

The ice cream was just slowing you down

Forget the ice cream and get straight to the good stuff: the cookie dough.

Ben & Jerry’s have just launched two new flavors of its snackable Cookie Dough Chunks: Half Baked and Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough.

There are already three other flavors: chocolate chip cookie dough, vegan chocolate chip cookie dough and peanut butter chocolate chip cookie dough.

“We weren’t entirely surprised when cookie dough chunks flew off the shelf,” said Jody Eley, Ben & Jerry’s innovation manager in charge of the launch. “Cookie Dough is our #1 fan favourite around the world, and we know our fans often dig around the ice cream to get to the chunks. We just made it a little easier by putting them in a bag.”

The sweet treats are safe to eat because they’re made with pasteurised eggs and heat-treated flour.

You can grab your Cookie Dough Chunks in stores across the US now.

And lucky Brits can pick them up in Asda supermarkets too.
