Its the weekend, so I treated myself at the farm shop
Steak and chicken breasts, grown on the farm
Chicken Korma, Pulao Rice - not the best pic but we were too busy eating it
The star here is really the Chicken Korma, despite the dodgy picture. The Franklins of Thorncote Rib Eye was really good - its very consistent. Not much to say about that.
I made the Korma using the recipe in Chetna Makan's 30 Minute book, just out - and its quite different to a standard BIR korma:
- no base gravy
- no coconut
- no almonds
- it has chilli, and chilli powder
It was really good, much more interesting than a very sweet BIR korma. I had to buy white poppy seeds for it - and I'm glad that I did.
