Jeremy Clarkson recently shared a video on Instagram to give us an update on his new Hawkstone lager, made with barley from his farm. He says he’s created a TV commercial to advertise it on ‘Who Wants to be a Millionaire’.
He says he got an email from his lawyers who claim that the scene where he sips the beer and says “fcuk me, that’s good!” contravenes “a number of regulations.” I think he was probably joking, and even if he weren’t joking, all you have to do is replace ’f**k’ with ‘fcuk’ or ‘duck’. Easy does it.
I haven’t tried it yet but based on the pictures, the ABV (4.8%), and the barley, I’d say Hawkstone lager might be the simple, no-nonsense beer you want after you get off from work and join your mates at the pub. Which I presume was Clarkson’s idea all along.
Have you tried it?

People are way to sensitive 🙄
Nope!
I think he was half joking. Maybe he’s just going to change fcuking with bloody
Bloody would be funnier
People need to get over it lol
Some people don't appreciate his sheer genius-ness 😂
If I was in Britain and if I was able to hang out with Jeremy Clarkson I would try his beer, especially since I am not a beer drinker
Maybe his lawyer said that with the reference to trademark or copyright. Isn't FCUK a brand of clothing and stands for "French Connection United Kingdom"? As to beer, if it comes to Australia, of course I will try it!
