  • In the United States, Wagyu is often crossbred with Angus and is technically known as “wangus”. Although it’s often marketed as wagyu, for obvious reasons. The Angus actually has better beef flavor than the pure Wagyu, so when combined you get a nice combination of good flavor along with the great marbling from the wagyu

  • We enjoyed Kagoshima A5 Wagyu filet and strip loin for our anniversary dinner this year. It was decadent for sure! And a little nerve racking to cook, because who wants to ruin hundreds of dollars of meat? LOL

    Very nice flavor. The high fat content of the strip loin made it melt in the mouth. The filet was the most tender I've ever experienced!
