Kylie Minogue adds pink Prosecco to her wine range
Her wine range now comprises seven different types of wine
About a year ago, in May 2020, multi-platinum artist Kylie Minogue launched her own wine brand 'Kylie Minogue' and having sold over a million bottles in just eleven months, she's recently decided to enrich her wine range with the addition of a new rosé Prosecco.
The new rosé Prosecco is produced in partnership with Zonin, a family-owned wine producer from Italy, and it is made from a blend of 85% Glera and 15% Pinot Noir and it has, as the label reads, “fresh strawberries, raspberries and blossom” with a "brightly textured and crisp with a refreshing citrus finish”.
Housed in Kylie's signature clear bottle with silver foil, pink and white label, a 75cl bottle will set you back £12, which is not bad at all considering this wine isn't exactly easy to produce, made using grapes grown on limestone-rich soils in Gambellara - in Veneto, Italy.
Kylie Minogue wine range consists of a French rosé, an organic Cava, a Margaret River Chardonnay, a Languedoc Merlot, Côtes de Provence rosé, a Gascony Sauvignon Blanc and now this new rosé Prosecco.
“I’m unbelievably humbled and thrilled by the global response to Kylie Minogue Wines," Minogue said. "To sell over a million bottles in less than a year has been incredible, and testimony to the amazing producers and winemakers the brand has been lucky enough to work alongside".
Minogue’s full rosé range, including rosé Prosecco, is available at Harvey Nichols, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Tesco and Ocado.
