Lagavulin ft. Guinness: two masters of creation come together
Backed by famous Lagavulin drinker Nick Offerman, this latest creation looks to be a cracker!
Double acts. We love 'em. Morecambe and Wise, the Two Ronnies, The Chuckle Brothers. Legends all in their own right, but now there's a new one. Guinness and Lagavulin.
The brewers of the iconic stout and the distillers of my all-time favourite single-malt have teamed up to create a limited run "sweet peat" whisky. I'll let Parks and Recreation's Ron Swanson explain it further.
Yes, finished off in Guinness casks for a new sweeter tone, this limited-edition whisky. Still an 11-year whisky, don't think this is a rushed production money grabber. This still goes through the same dedicated and careful distilling processes as all of Lagavulin's other products. Branded the Offerman Edition, it will be hitting the shelves here in the UK on the first of July, the same as Canada, Australia and China. Meanwhile, if you live 'State-side' you can get your mitts on this finest of drams from the start of June.
July cannot come soon enough.
