Ljubljana is the capital city of Slovenia, the first former Yugoslav country to become independent and the only one to have joined the €.
The geographical proximity with Austria and Italy gave it Mediterranean and Augsburg vibes and I’ll be honest, prices are going up like mind. I first came here 7 years ago and it was significantly cheaper than it is now, tbh
It has canals, designer stores and many, many cocktail beers. But I still managed to find a proper beer place with a selection of craft ales as big as the Magna Carta and I tried three of ‘em. All three are made in Slovenia.
-Maister Noordung, a chocolate porter bottled at 6% ABV
-Pelicon The 3d Pill, a super-hoppy IPA w/ 6% ABV
-Pelicon Black Aurora, an old school dark ale, bottled at 6.2% ABV
