Love chocolate, love bourbon, love Guinness? This is how you combine all three
Yup, Bourbon barrel-aged Chocolate Mint Stout
This Christmas, if you’re a fan of chocolate, Bourbon, and Guinness, you can get yourself some Bourbon barrel-aged chocolate mint stout, which sounds rich, full of calories and tasty.
The idea was coined by the Guinness Open Gate Brewery in Baltimore, Maryland and they’ve done it for four years. This stout is brewed with dried mint leaves, and then aged in Kentucky bourbon barrels, with the addition of cacao and it’s bottled at 10.8%.
