Mighty map marks pubs pulling portable pints
Yes, there's a map marking out which pubs are pulling take-away beers. Rejoice
The New Normal is on the horizon. The dawn of a new era is poking its golden rays over the hillock of despair. Pubs are coming back. The 4th of July has been pencilled in as the date for the local rub-a-dub to open up, with beer gardens and patios opening from the 22nd June, reportedly.
But these dates have yet to be confirmed, and like misbehaved children those dates could be taken away if the situation turns sour. But there is still hope. For now, many pubs are serving take-away pints, and now there's a map telling you exactly where.
Good news if you live in London, it's pretty much business as usual
What started out as a simple list quickly grew from about 40 pubs to the 250 or so currently marked out. Broken down into a series of lists, there's one for London and one for non-London.
Each listing explains what they serve, if they do takeaway food, and the opening hours with handy symbols. You can also add your local to it and help keep your beloved boozer afloat in these troublesome times. What more could you ask for really?
