Being plantbased for the last almost 2 years now has opened a journey into milk alternatives. When your not vegan you don't realise how much milk goes into things until you have to search the backs of food packaging too see whether it contains any dairy or meat. And also it becomes a bigger journey trying to understand what milk alternatives you like for different things. For instance I love oat milk in my tea or coffee as it adds a sweetness and it doesn't tend to curdle. Yep that's right some milk alternatives curdle 🤢. I find coconut milk is lovely in porridges and rice puddings. Almond milk I like on cereals and muesli. and soya milk I use in cooking. So as you can see we use all different milk alternatives for different things. Two questions below please answer for me as I would a. love to know what milk you love and b. whether you would like a low down on UK branded milk alternatives?

I love oat milk for coffee and tea! For my cereal or porridge I usually use soy! And in the U.K. I would occasionally get the Alpro coconut & almond for my coffee, it was a bit pricey but it tasted really good 👌🏼
Amazing 🤩 I love how we aren’t the only ones using different mills for different things 💕
You are not alone 😁
Of course you know I'm not vegan but I am lactose intolerant. I can use regular milk to cook with because amounts are small enough that it doesn't bother me. If I want some cocoa I get a sweetened vanilla almond milk.
Ooo sweetened vanilla almond milk sounds lovey and I bet it makes a fave hot chocolate 💕
It was very nice. I don't remember if it was oat or rice milk I tried first and didn't care for it.
I am not going to say anything about pea milk 🤣
I would read it
