Morrisons has a mince pie sandwich this Christmas

M​orrisons is taking festive sandwiches to a new level this year, with its mince pie concoction!

Available from 28 October until Christmas Eve, this new invention is filled with mince pie chutney, cream cheese and Wensleydale, all served on a fruity panettone style bread roll.

It's basically an interesting take on a cheese and pickle sandwich, just with added Christmas.

"We’ve upped our Christmas sarnie game this year to offer something completely new for customers," says Richard Jones, food to go buyer at Morrisons.

T​he sandwich costs £3 and is included in Morrisons' £3.50 meal deal.
