My Easy and delicious Creole Seasoning recipe
Also known as cool seasoning!
Creole is a great all round blend for chicken, shrimp, fish, veggies and much more. This is based off Tony Chachere's Creole seasoning, however, my seasoning blend contains less salt and more heat, plus some tweaks.
- 2 TBSP Paprika
- 1 TBSP+1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 TBSP+1 tsp Kosher Salt
- 2 tsp Onion Powder
- 2 tsp Cayenne
- 2 tsp Oregano
- 1/2 tsp ghost pepper
- 1 tsp Thyme
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 tsp Turmeric
- Mix in a bowl or mason jar, and then put into spice bottle.
- You could also layer the mix into a spice bottle for nice presentation, then give as a gift and let them mix it.
Most of the time I make a double batch up in a mason jar and then just top off my spice jar as needed.
