My Journey through FoodTribe: Caprese Salad
Visiting Italy with Valentina Testa.
I needed fresh basil to make this and now I have it! Such a delicious quick salad. Currently I can only find fresh mozzarella made from cow's milk and at the store it does not always list the variety of tomatoes but these were vine ripened. Some Italian Olive oil and a few grinds of sea salt, grab a fork and dig in. This will make a wonderful summer salad, I have had close to this before but with balsamic vinegar and in Valentina's post that is a no-no. It is good and refreshing just as she posted it.
