This time I am joining Marcel DSB for some homecooked burgers. Yes I know how to make a homecooked burger but these were a bit different than making a burger patty up. I'm not going to lie I was a bit nervous going into this cause there are a few things that goes against what I was taught over the years. My beef/fat preferred ratio has been 80/20 for as long as I can remember, even to the point that if something else is on sale I overlook it. He was using a 95/5 but the closest I can get was 90/10. I have been told that if you overmix ground meat it will become dense almost tough. Now let me tell you what! This was an excellent burger! Marcel deserves a round of applause 👏 for nailing this recipe. This had good flavor, very moist and texture was good. I kept my toppings very simple to get the most from the burger itself, I only added cheese and some ketchup. From now on this will be my go to burger recipe, money allowing. If you have not checked this out, go there now! Do this! It is excellent.
