My Journey Through FoodTribe: KFC Hunter's Chicken Toastie
Sandwich making directions from James Howell-Jones.
James Howell-Jones posted how to make the KFC Hunter's Chicken Toastie. I thought why not since our KFC does not have these. Right now I have an artisan rosemary bread that I used, cooked up some bacon, used Vermont white cheddar, bought some KFC tenders and I used KFC's honey BBQ sauce. Then we assemble. I buttered up one side of a piece of bread and placed it butter side down in the skillet, add cheese, add cooked bacon, tenders, BBQ sauce, more cheese and another piece of buttered bread, this time butter side up. Now we cook. I only needed to melt the cheese and toast the bread since everything was already hot. So this only took a few minutes and we are ready to eat(take pics first). This was a pretty overall tasty sandwich. The flavors compliment each other well, at least the flavors I had did. Not sure if I would make it again but I am glad I tried it.

Looks and sounds good.
Not too bad at all.
You don't have their extra crispy recipe somewhere do you?
No I don't but I'm wanting to say someone posted it during lockdown.
The chicken on the grill using the rotisserie tastes just like KFC. All I need is that secret crispy recipe. Thanks for the lead. I'll try to hunt it down.
Looks good.
