My Mexican burger with cheese-filled tortilla 'bun'
Is this the craziest burger yet?
FoodTribe this is getting crazy. So I had an idea what if I took all the things I love about Mexican food and made it into a burger. Well this is the result.
For the buns we have folded tortillas filled with cheese and toasted to a nice crisp. The burger is seasoned with taco seasoning. The bottom bun has a layer of refried beans, spicy salsa and jalapeños.
Below the top bun is more cheese. spicy salsa, sour cream and lettuce. All that together makes one glorious burger. Now there is a down side to this burger though if I am honest. It is messy. You will want to keep a roll of paper towels handy while eating this.
If you decide to try this make sure you are really hungry because this is a very heavy and filling burger.

Did you forget the guacamole, or are you not a fan of avocado? Also, 10/10 for creativity and innovation, love the tortilla 'buns', I would order this if I saw it on a menu. Maybe you should start a restaurant or food truck called World of Burgers... Your menu is a globe... Customers could spin it to decide... You just need a burger for each country... Would it be mean to dare you? I think it would be epic 🙂
Issue your customers with a passport... The sky's the limit here really....

The tortilla-cheese buns with fried beans look delicious. I think you could use them to do a huevos rancheros breakfast sandwich!

Looks great. I’ve tried to make a burger with tortillas instead of the bun, but the burger kept slipping out lol
I understand. It tried doing that with this one I do think the refried beans helped slow it down.
