My next dilemma. Has anybody ever used one of there to cook a turkey? If so for how long at what temp? Must be edible by 1 pm tomorrow. And yes the turkey is thawed.
I have. I set mine to 350°F and used a lot of Kerrygold (whole pack under the skin, whole pack in the turkey) plus a Pabst Blue Ribbon inside the bird. Sprayed the skin with olive oil and used Whole Foods coarse sea salt and black pepper. Turned out really great.
Hey Ben. Here’s mine. I find mine cooks MUCH faster. Typically 375 & that 15 lb bird is done in just under 3 hours. Be sure to have a meat thermometer.

I always wanted to deep fry one, everyone seems to like it, I never had it
How did your bird turn out?
Perfect! After lots of worry it emerged 4 hours later in perfect condition! Thanks for your help Jane!

Thanks Dewayne! Did the turkey oven cook any faster or slower than a regular oven?
It seemed to take about the same amount of time to me at 350°F. Just don’t deep fry a turkey if you like having a house.
