This is some of my cooking books library. Article by Jeannine Lawall with the beautiful display, inspired me to share my library. I am proud to say, I have used every book for either recipes or inspiration. Unfortunately, some pages have greasy marks to prove it! Everything is in order by regions. Empty bottles, referred to as "Graveyard of sunken ships", are from either restaurants around Europe and Australia or from dinners parties at our home. We have grand collection of them and rotate them regularly. Books by famous chefs are also signed by them. Most of my books do not have pretty picture, a.k.a. "food porn". My most favorite and most used is "French Regional Cooking" by Anne Willan. Very, very informative one! In conclusion I'd like to say that video recipes on YouTube are all good and well, but nothing quite like opening cook book, especially old, well used one. Happy cooking and Bon Appetit!
