Mysterious creature outside woman's window... turns out to be a croissant

A Polish woman gazed outside her window one morning and spotted what appeared to be a strange, alien-like creature hanging between two branches. She observed the puffy organism's behaviour (or lack there of) from afar for two days before contacting the Krakow Society for the Protection of Animals (KTOZ).

The inspectors eventually arrived at the scene and witnessed the soulless creature behaving just as the woman reported. "Its brown skin glistened in the sun, although there was some dullness here and there", KTOZ wrote on their Facebook post relating to the incident. "It is difficult to help something that has been previously baked, not in the sun's rays". The lengthy, Polish post is satirical in nature and can be read on Facebook by clicking here.

KTOZ clarified that this was no April Fool's joke and that the caller was genuinely concerned. However, they also added that it's worth reporting unfamiliar sights to be safe rather than sorry. In other words, if you see a pancake-shaped creature taking a nap on your roof, you should probably call local animal rescue. You might even discover that this never-before-seen animal tastes like buttermilk.
