Restaurants and pubs are officially reopening across the country, and that means we can finally go back to Nando's for some peri peri-style chicken.
Par for the course, this being a rebirth of some sort after a long and tough lockdown, the South African chain has decided to celebrate in style by introducing a brand new sauce to the menu and it's a tasty one as well (or cheeky, remember the meme?) because it involves coconut and lemon.
It's called 'Coconut & Lemon' and, according to Nando's, it has a "a tropical taste with a creamy, zesty kick". There you go. The Coconut & Lemon spice is replacing the Passion Fruit & Mango options, and it is already available across all UK restaurants.
The bad news, there's always bad news I'm afraid, is that it is available for a limited only so you might want to book your table now. You also might wanna watch this space, as they say, because Nando's also said that the Coconut & Lemon spice is available... "...until the next seasonal spice is introduced." Interesting.
