New Lindor Salted Caramel Truffles are on sale now

A brand new addition to Lindt’s Lindor truffle range has been launched – and it’s got everyone excited

1y ago

Lindt (otherwise known as the world’s best gift provider) has blessed the world with a much needed sweet release by announcing the creation of its latest Lindor product: salted caramel truffles.

Adding to a range that already includes white chocolate, orange and strawberries and cream flavours (mint happens to be my personal favourite, if anyone’s struggling to find people to give presents to), the salted caramel announcement will help immensely to develop one of the most craved chocolate collections around.

The salted caramel version of the traditional soft-centred truffles can be predicted to add to the sweeter products in the Lindor range, which should team considerably well with the subtle silkiness of the chocolate.

The truffles are available to buy direct from the Lindt website or through various other providers, including Amazon. At around £4-5 a box, the chocolates are liable to sell out very quickly – especially given the uncontrollable delight that their release has generated. However, if you're one of those people to be showered with good luck, Lindt is giving away twenty salted caramel cartons in a simple Instagram competition.

The enthusiastic social media reaction, which has ranged somewhere in between raucous and riot-inducing, is plain to see:

Word on the street claimed that the hazelnut truffles had been sacrificed to allow the release of the new creation, but – since they’re still showing on the Lindt website – that claim is likely to be incorrect.

So, now people will be spoilt for choice during those emergency Valentine’s Day shopping dashes.
