Not your normal sweet potato pie.
This has an unexpected twist.
Sweet potato pie is a love it or hate it type of pie. I fall into the love it crowd. Our neighbor told us that her boyfriend likes his with coconut mixed in. My first thought was "Don't mess with sweet potato pie" Then one day she brought over some of her pie to us And who am I to turn down sweet potato pie. To be honest Foodtribe I was hooked before I was finished chewing the first bite. That is some sweet earthy goodness and the coconut added just a little texture. Well you all that has been fifteen or so years ago and we are still making them. And now the only way I want a sweet potato pie is with coconut in it. Thanks Loretta!!!
