Nutritionist stores processed foods for months to prove they 'never go off'
Fries, McNuggets, Doughnuts, etc etc
You gotta love TikTok, full of “amazing”videos of things that make no sense. The latest addition to the collection is… somebody’s cupboard filled with processed foods, which were apparently left there on purpose to prove they “never go off.”
The video was shared by a TikTok user named @elifgkandemir, a young woman from Essex. She claims her mum - a nutritionist - has been storing all kinds of processed foods - fries, pizza, jaffa cakes, pastries - from well-known fast food chains in various drawers to prove they never go bad, which, I'm assuming, means proving they contain too many preservatives. Or at least I think that's the point she's trying to make.
“This is my mum's food cupboard full of foods that never go off. My mum is a nutritionist helping to tackle obesity,” she said. “These foods shown here are ultra-processed foods that 80% of the UK consume on a regular basis."
